Hi, Choral Colleagues.

This is just a reminder that we're still planning to hold the Vocal Jazz Immersion Day. It's set for January 19. Read all about it here...just in case you missed this mailing of a few weeks ago! We hope to see you at Clackamas Community College!

Dear Singers,

We are thrilled to host the 5th annual Vocal Jazz Immersion Day on Wednesday, January 19, 2022!

This year, we have invited vocalist and educator, Dr. Sherry Alves, PSU to our faculty to work with you in the afternoon session. I will work with you in the morning and we will finish up with an evening concert featuring the VJ Immersion Ensemble, Mainstream and the CCC Faculty Ensemble featuring Dr. Sherry Alves.

Music will be available upon your registration. To ensure your preparedness, we will begin the day with random parts checks and you must be able to sing your part on your own in order to fully participate. If you are unprepared, you will be asked to sit out. We will be unable to refund your registration fee.

To make this as fun and as easy as possible, I am providing you with scores and practice parts so you can learn independently without the assistance of your choir director. Sign up as soon as possible to begin your preparation. Here is the schedule for the day:

• 8:30 am: Check-in
